Excel was founded in 1987 as a tutoring service for aspiring young talent, who constantly requested my assistance. I found it both thrilling and rewarding to invest my time and energy in helping to build the self-esteem and professional skills of others. I have a real heart for our students, and the EXCEL staff works diligently to make each student’s experience a pleasant and valuable one.

When we started EXCEL, there were four existing national modeling school chains in Little Rock. As of January 2001, EXCEL is the only full service, licensed school in the state of Arkansas. Still a growing organization, EXCEL has now expanded to include: a complete photographic studio, a licensed modeling, personal development, and acting school; as well as, an international agency that is currently working to place students with such reputable agencies as Jeff Mitchell Management of New York, NEXT, and Ford of New York.

EXCEL has actors in major movies, television commercials, television series, and on Broadway. EXCEL has graduates working all over the world and our students have won over 1500 international awards in acting and modeling over the past eleven years! We are very proud of our students whether they choose to work locally or internationally! However, EXCEL’s reputation is built as much on honesty, integrity, and commitment to service, as it is on the accomplishments of our students. Our primary commitment is to ensure that each of our students obtains the skills to excel; not only in modeling but in any career they choose to pursue.
